Q: What is the difference between a public, password protected and invitation only chatroom?.. Public chatrooms are open to all ACE users and all public chatroom content can be seen by all ACE users.. Password protected chatrooms require that the ACE user provide a password to enter the chatroom.. Group manager and group members can provide the password to fellow group members via an Announcement in their respective group.. Invitation only chatrooms require an invitation from the chatroom creator to participate in the chatroom.. The invitation can be provided via a one-on-one chat initiated by the chatroom creator.. Q: How can I view the chat history?.. Click on the newspaper icon within your chatroom.. How can I use the ACE chat feature to communicate with someone who speaks a different language?.. Click on the ‘T’ button next to the ‘Chatroom’ button in the bottom left corner of the screen and select the language you wish your conversation to be translated.. Using Google Chrome, the 3D Globe mapping application is always ‘on top of’ all other map application and/or web viewer application and tool tips in my Workspace.. How can I fix this?.. The ACE team is aware of this problem with the z-index ordering of the 3D Globe map application on the Workspace when a user is using Google Chrome.. This is a recognized problem with the Google Earth plugin on Chrome and not a problem with the ACE tool.. Other known issues:.. In Firefox 23.. 1 there is a problem with the Web Viewer application and viewing webpages.. This is how it can be fixed.. Zoom to layer extent may bring you to the center of the layer.. For example, if the layer is extensive, it may bring you to 0 latitude, 0 longitute.. Opening a link within a KML/KMZ display (3D Globe) may open outside of ACE.. This is a known issue with the Google Earth plugin on Chrome.. When resizing a map or web view applications, all other applications on your Workspace will 'gray' out.. Chatroom have a popout window, but one-on-one chats do not..
